Ribble Valley Mounted Archers

Location:  Accrington, Lancashire.

Active members: 19

Established: 2018

Training: The club runs regular clinics throughout the year for both ground and mounted archery. These are usually the first Saturday in the month. Members can participate in IHAA postal matches, try for their IHAA grades and study for BHAA qualifications.

New members: Are always welcome, as are those already holding their BHAA Club Horseback Archer qualification.

Beginners? The club teaches beginners all year round with both indoor and outdoor ground and horseback archery sessions available. Ribble Valley do not currently offer riding tuition; those wishing to participate in mounted sessions must be competent riders. 

Do I need my own horse?: Yes. Ribble Valley are looking into offering horse hire but are currently unable to do so
